Last night I heard the single most encouraging thing ever in regards to the upcoming election. A friend of ours said this to us:
“Right now I am celebrating the progress we have made, and November 4th, I am going to celebrate the inevitable.”
I have to say that in all of my stress regarding this election, no one could have said anything more connected to the true spirit and leadership of Barak Obama. This sentence encapsulates the hope we all hear about, but also allows for what “whatever will be, will be” to be part of the equation. It is so good I have to write it twice.
